Glucose Monitoring System is intended for persons (aged 4 and over) with insulin-requiring diabetes mellitus. The indication for children (age 4 - 17) is limited to those who are supervised by a caregiver who is at least 18 years of age.
IMPORTANT: Freestyle Libre 2 sensors are only compatible with the FreeStyle Libre 2 Reader and the FreeStyle LibreLink AppØ.

The FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor is painless to apply and easy to wear. Swim, shower or exercise — your sensor is designed to be water-resistant and worn while bathing, showering, swimming◊ and exercising.

Data charges may apply when downloading the FreeStyle LibreLink or LibreLinkUp apps. FreeStyle Libre readers and sensors are provided by Abbott. The FreeStyle LibreLink app is only compatible with certain mobile devices and operating systems. Please check our compatibility guide for more information about device compatibility before using the app. The FreeStyle LibreLink app and the FreeStyle Libre reader have similar but not identical features.
Ψ LibreLinkUp is a mobile application, developed and provided by Newyu. Use of LibreLinkUp requires registration with LibreView, a service provided by Abbott and Newyu, Inc. Data charges may apply when downloading the LibreLinkUp app. FreeStyle Libre readers and sensors are provided by Abbott.
€ In order to use FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor, you need to ensure you have a compatible smartphone and the latest FreeStyle LibreLink app downloaded. If you’re using the FreeStyle Libre sensor with the FreeStyle LibreLink app, you may go on to switch to the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor, but if you’re using your FreeStyle Libre sensor with the FreeStyle Libre reader you will have to switch to the FreeStyle LibreLink app. The FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor will only work with the FreeStyle LibreLink app. You may continue to use the FreeStyle Libre sensor with the FreeStyle Libre reader if you do not have a compatible smartphone.
